Shotcrete application along east wall

Special crews utilize a special mixture of concrete called shotcrete to form the walls of the basement. This mixture is applied using a high pressure system that shoots the cement into place around the rebar infrastructure. An assistant equipped with an air hose helps spread the mixture into every empty space. A second crew comes behind the first and smooths out the shotcrete. The crewman aiming the hose has to be certified for each job site before the beginning work.
