The green tarps are now enclosing the second floor as workers prepare to start fireproofing that floor.

Molds for exterior designs

Dura Art Stone has fabricated these models of the exterior designs for the building. These will be used to make the forms for precast concrete when Dura Art Stone begins production.

Panoramic of the roof area

The top of the building will house a variety of mechanical equipment including air conditioning. These systems are large and not as elegant as the rest of the building’s exterior so a facade will hide the units.

First floor fireproofing

Fireproofing continues on the first floor. The fireproof material is sprayed onto exposed steel and workers use pin testers to ensure that there’s enough material covering each section.

Drywall beginning

Workers have begun to put up drywall around the first floor of the building. This is the first phase of the interior construction. Other floors will begin to have drywall installed as soon as the exposed steel beams are fireproofed.
